FRIENDS OF THE MUS why and for what?

On this website we will offer a space for the different mus championships or mus events that are held throughout the Basque Country and why not, in the world. In this way, anyone who wants to practice this ancient Basque game will have facilities. So that whoever wants to do it knows when and where he can play it.

2010.Urtean The Federation of Mus of the Basque Country tried to implement the project called MUS LAGUNAK, which was maintained as a result of the prioritization of the organization of the Mus Championship of the Basque Country for other priorities. With the initiative of a mus fan from Lapurdi, the Euskal Herriko Mus Federazioa decided to resume the project and launch it in January 2026. Together with this new member we have formed a working group called Mus lagunak within the Federation of Mus of the Basque Country.

The focus of this project is the website located at www.mus.eus.

Associations, bars, restaurants or groups of friends who organize Mus Championships will have the opportunity to publicize their championship on the free website www.mus.eus. They will have the opportunity to open their championship to the world and reach the mus fan. In addition to the possibility of hanging the usual poster, they will place their txoko on the map and put their tournament on the agenda. For those who wish, they can upload photos and chronicle of the winners.

Anyone who loves the game Mus www.mus.eus will find the opportunity to do so in the portal. In addition, you can receive the weekly newsletter in your email.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • It will be completely free to upload information about any tournament. It will be the responsibility of the organizer who publishes it to ensure that what is announced corresponds to what is organized. www.mus.eus will carry out editorial work without further requirements or responsibilities.
  • The information provided must be in Basque, otherwise at least the Basque language must be included if it is a championship organized in the Basque Country.
  • There will also be the possibility of launching international mus championships.
  • The mus championships organized by the Federations of Mus of Spain and France in the Basque Country will not be published on this website.
  • We recognize the Basque Federation of Mus as a means of organizing and regulating our mus game.
